Senior EMR Analyst – Release of Information
Job Description:
- Provides guidance and training to EMR Analysts
- Ensures written and verbal requests for release of information are responded to accurately and timely
- Monitors staff schedules, productivity, and workflow
- Serves as a liaison to the Network HIM Release of Information Manager
- Coaches HIM EMR Analysts to achieve higher performance levels
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in health information technology or a healthcare related field
- 6+ years of directly related experience
- 3 years of experience with HIM and HIM related application use
- 3 years of electronic medical record (EMR) and related applications experience
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Knowledgeable with electronic medical record and applicable clinical, department, and vendor applications
