Customer Sales Analyst

Job Description:

  • Identify insights, present learnings, and deliver business recommendations to drive joint business growth
  • Collaborate with the sales & corporate teams to achieve customer unit, revenue, distribution, feature, and display goals
  • Design, prepare and deliver regular category, customer, and account performance reports
  • Conduct regular reviews and quarterly assessments of key business drivers
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis with curiosity and agility, in a way that proactively uncovers business opportunities
  • Develop & build impactful customer specific selling stories that reflect key category business-building initiatives
  • Partner with the Sales team to prepare, lead and deliver materials for external meetings
  • Attend customer meetings to assist sales team in presenting business cases
  • Define and scale best practices across the analyst organization

Requirements:

  • A self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent collaborator and proven ability to work as a team
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with high proficiency in data analysis
  • Ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan and deliver results
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
  • Proven experience owning reporting and providing data driven insights to influence business results
  • Prior experience in business analytics with a national retailer or manufacturer is a plus
  • Experience with 3rd party data is a plus, including but not limited to IRI and 84.51 (Market 6 & Stratum)
