ECAD Library Specialist

Our mission is to connect individual households, schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies in areas lacking stable network access.</p><p>We're searching for passionate individuals who thrive in an inventive environment and want to contribute to an ambitious program that advances space-based systems design and wireless technology.</p><p><b>Export Control Requirement:</b> Due to export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Create and update schematic and PCB library symbols using Siemens Xpedition Library Manager.</li><li>Manage part parametric data within Siemens Xpedition EDM database and Siemens TeamCenter PLM.</li><li>Modify component symbols based on engineering requests or ECO changes.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance process flows.</li></ul><p><b>A Typical Day Includes:</b></p><p>As an ECAD Library Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in defining and creating electrical symbols and 3D models. Your contributions will span all phases of product development, ensuring the maintenance and accuracy of the component libraries. Balancing priorities while focusing on customer needs and project timelines will be essential. You’ll bring a wealth of industry knowledge, cross-functional experience, and robust process expertise to the role.</p><p><b>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><ul><li>2+ years of technical support experience.</li><li>1+ years with Siemens TeamCenter PLM or a similar PLM system.</li><li>1+ years of experience with Siemens Xpedition EDM or an equivalent eCAD library database.</li><li>2+ years using Siemens Xpedition Library Manager or comparable tools.</li><li>Understanding of component package types and their interchangeability.</li><li>Ability to read mechanical and package dimensional drawings or electrical component datasheets.</li><li>Experience creating and managing schematic, PCB, and CAD libraries.</li></ul><p><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><ul><li>2+ years of experience with Siemens TeamCenter PLM or a similar PLM.</li><li>3+ years of experience with Siemens Xpedition EDM or a comparable eCAD library database.</li><li>3+ years using Siemens Xpedition Library Manager or similar tools.</li><li>Familiarity with IPC, JEDEC, and EIA industry standards.</li><li>Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
