This is a hands-on technical ownership role focused on Support as well as on driving platform strategy, scalability, and security</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Architecture & Platform Ownership</p><p>• Lead the design and management of WordPress multisite architecture for enterprise-scale deployments</p><p>• Own platform scalability, performance optimization, and high availability</p><p>• Serve as the primary technical owner, driving design decisions and best practices</p><p>Security & Compliance</p><p>• Implement and manage enterprise-grade security controls</p><p>• Drive vulnerability management, including patching, monitoring, and remediation</p><p>• Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and industry standards</p><p>Plugin & Platform Governance</p><p>• Establish and enforce plugin lifecycle management (evaluation, approval, upgrades, deprecation)</p><p>• Define governance frameworks for code quality, security, and maintainability</p><p>• Maintain consistency across multisite environments</p><p>Development & Collaboration</p><p>• Collaborate closely with internal development teams and stakeholders</p><p>• Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers</p><p>• Review code and ensure adherence to architecture and security standards</p><p>AI-enabled Engineering</p><p>• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to enhance productivity and code quality</p><p>• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices within the team</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Required Qualifications</p><p>• 12+ years of experience in web/platform engineering, with strong focus on WordPress</p><p>• Proven expertise in WordPress multisite architecture and operations</p><p>• Strong background in enterprise security and vulnerability management</p><p>• Experience managing plugin ecosystems at scale with governance controls</p><p>• Demonstrated experience as a technical lead or platform owner</p><p>• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, REST APIs, and modern web technologies</p><p>• Experience working in enterprise environments with cross-functional teams</p><p>• Experience working with Copilot, Claude</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><p>• Experience in high-tech or semiconductor industry environments</p><p>• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines</p><p>• Exposure to headless WordPress or modern frontend frameworks</p><p>• Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices</p><p></p>
