Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory management, procurement, and coordination of equipment, materials, and personnel to support field crews. This role ensures timely sourcing of parts, efficient workflow between departments, and operational readiness of tools, vehicles, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Maintain and track inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and restock as needed
  • Keep warehouse and shop areas organized, clean, and secure
  • Inspect returned equipment and vehicles for condition and readiness

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Source and order parts, including hard-to-find or discontinued items
  • Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes based on cost, availability, and timelines
  • Create and process purchase orders (POs) and related documentation
  • Coordinate purchasing and payments with accounting
  • Manage vendor relationships, repairs, warranties, and service requests

Operations & Coordination

  • Create and manage work orders for crews and equipment usage
  • Coordinate scheduling for equipment delivery, repairs, and job site needs
  • Dispatch equipment, materials, and personnel as required
  • Arrange transportation of tools, bins, trailers, and construction equipment
  • Respond to urgent or emergency operational needs

Team & Cross-Functional Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for field crews, mechanics, and internal staff
  • Communicate timelines for parts availability and job readiness
  • Assist teams with tools, materials, and supply needs
  • Coordinate with subcontractors using company equipment

Administrative Duties

  • Track parts requests, quotes, and purchasing activity
  • Maintain records for inventory, purchases, and work orders
  • Distribute paperwork across departments
  • Handle calls related to equipment, repairs, and operations

Daily Operations

  • Open and prepare warehouse/shop for daily operations
  • Coordinate with mechanics on inspections and repairs
  • Verify crew readiness, including equipment safety and PPE compliance
  • Close and secure the warehouse at the end of the day

Decision-Making Responsibilities

  • Select vendors for parts, repairs, and equipment servicing
  • Prioritize purchasing and workflow based on urgency
  • Coordinate scheduling to minimize downtime and maintain productivity
  • Allocate resources across multiple projects effectively

Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or equipment coordination preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience with procurement and vendor management
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and purchase order processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday

  • Warehouse and shop environment
  • Exposure to tools, machinery, and outdoor conditions as needed
