Job Description
Client is asking if we could get the resource on a call with the customer for :30 mins to help understand the need to develop the solution. Basically, we are asking the resource to help us with the 00:30 min call to help sell their expertise, knowledge and develop how long it will take for their time to complete the items the customer needs done.
Below is the information and they would like the meeting next week and proposed solution time by end of next week.
Why vPro?
'© They have roughly 45,000 endpoints through out their environment
'© They ike the offine management, being able to remote control while the device is powered off
They have an active project to standup the management console and do some validation/POC and hope to enable across thelr ent
They do have a management console stood up
'© Had trouble connecting with the SQL/Express database but that has been resolved
'© They may want to have furjher conversations around any addtional configurations considerations and design (scaling to manage the 45,000 endpoints)
'© They want to test these configurations and provide some Proof of Concept and report fndings
They were ready to have a deeper discussion, but I didn't have any SME's onthe call,
'©. They are interested in having a conversation and determine the cost of such project to have Dell engaged,
In a nutshell we want to address the following :
- Check that the server and database is properly configured
- Configure /deploy Client agent (manul vs auto) to connect with the Client EMA server
- Setup public key infrastructure (PKI) Certficate
- Provisioned Client AMT either in client control or admin control mode
- Configures Client AMT Settings such as power policy, KVM interface, CIRA setup in-band connection
- Configure Client AMT to perform out of band actions
- Configure LAN-Less endpoints
