This role focuses on producing accurate, professional construction drawings</div><div>and technical documentation for high-end home theaters, media rooms, and specialty residential spaces.</div><div> <br>The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD experience, understands residential construction, and enjoys</div><div>collaborating with designers, project managers, and field teams to bring complex projects to life.</div><div> <br>This is not purely a drafting role. The strongest candidates for this position are individuals who enjoy the balance</div><div>of:</div><ul> <li>technical documentation</li> <li>design collaboration</li> <li>project coordination</li> </ul><div>You will work closely with designers, builders, consultants, and internal teams to help translate design intent into</div><div>thoughtful, buildable solutions for luxury residential environments.</div><div><br></div><h1><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h1><div><strong>Drafting & Documentation</strong></div><div>• Create clear, accurate, and organized AutoCAD drawing packages for luxury residential projects</div><div>• Develop floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, sections, details, and schedules</div><div>• Translate design concepts into buildable construction documentation</div><div>• Revise and update drawings based on internal reviews, consultant coordination, and field conditions</div><div>• Assist in maintaining company CAD standards, templates, blocks, and drawing libraries</div><div> <br><strong>Design & Technical Coordination</strong> </div><div>• Incorporate audio/video systems, acoustical treatments, lighting, and custom furniture into project drawings</div><div>• Coordinate with interior designers, architects, builders, and AV professionals</div><div>• Review product specifications, shop drawings, installation manuals, and technical documentation</div><div>• Help identify design conflicts and contribute to practical, real-world solutions</div><div>• Support the design team with material research, finish selections, and product coordination</div><div> <br><strong>Design & Administrative Support</strong> </div><div>• Assist the design team with material, finish, and sample coordination</div><div>• Pull, organize, and ship samples for client presentations and project needs</div><div>• Help organize project details, specifications, and internal documentation</div><div> <br><strong>Project Support</strong> </div><div>• Participate in internal and external project meetings as requested</div><div>• Maintain organized project files and documentation</div><div>• Track progress, revisions, and time allocation accurately</div><div>• Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail</div><div><br></div><h1>What We’re Looking For</h1><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul> <li>2–10+ years of experience in residential drafting, technical design, interior architecture, or construction</li> <li>documentation</li> <li>Advanced AutoCAD proficiency required</li> <li>Experience working within a residential interior design studio, architecture firm, custom builder, or luxury residential environment strongly preferred</li> <li>Strong understanding of residential construction methods, detailing, and drawing standards</li> <li>Experience producing professional construction drawing packages and coordinating revision</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation</li> <li>Experience with SketchUp, rendering software, or 3D modeling is a plus</li> <li>Associate’s Degree, Technical Degree, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field preferred</li> <li>Understanding of emerging AI tools and technology platforms that can improve drawing production, organization, efficiency, and workflow is a strong plus </li> <li>Ability to produce high-quality technical drawings efficiently while contributing to improved systems, standards, and processes</li> </ul><div><strong>Candidate Profile</strong></div><ul> <li>Strong technical production abilities and attention to detail</li> <li>The ability to learn quickly and contribute efficiently</li> <li>A proactive, solution-oriented mindset</li> <li>Strong organizational and communication skills</li> <li>Interest in improving systems, workflows, and team efficiency</li> <li>The ability to balance technical documentation, design collaboration, and project coordination within a fast-paced luxury residential environment</li> </ul><div>Candidates with stronger luxury residential experience, technical coordination capabilities, and the ability to quickly contribute at a high level will be viewed favorably.</div><div> <br><strong>What Success Looks Like at CinemaTech</strong> </div><ul> <li>Serve Others First — support your team and clients with excellence</li> <li>Take Ownership — treat every drawing and deliverable with pride</li> <li>Make It Happen — solve problems proactively and keep projects moving</li> <li>Be a Bright Spot — bring positivity, professionalism, and consistency</li> <li>Respect Everyone — value clients, partners, trades, and teammates alike</li> </ul> </div>
