Technical Project Manager – IT/OT (Manufacturing Infrastructure & Network Modernization)About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead IT/OT remediation and infrastructure modernization at a manufacturing site. This role focuses on industrial network and compute refresh, structured cabling upgrades, and cybersecurity-driven remediation aligned to corporate OT standards and industry frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST).

You will work directly with plant leadership, engineering, and IT teams to deliver upgrades with minimal disruption to manufacturing operations. This role requires strong experience in industrial environments, OT networks, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

– Lead end-to-end IT/OT remediation efforts across a manufacturing facility
– Manage planning, execution, and stabilization of infrastructure upgrades
– Serve as primary point of contact for plant leadership, operations, and engineering teams
– Deliver industrial network refresh (switching, routing, wireless, edge/compute systems)
– Oversee structured cabling installations (copper, fiber, industrial-grade standards)
– Ensure minimal disruption to plant operations during implementation
– Drive IT/OT separation, segmentation, and zoning strategies
– Align all work to corporate OT cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, NIST)
– Implement access controls, network segmentation, and secure architecture
– Support audit readiness and compliance with internal and external requirements

Required Experience

– 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager in manufacturing or industrial environments
– Experience with IT/OT integration and OT network segmentation
– Exposure to Industrial Control Systems (ICS) / SCADA environments
– Strong understanding of industrial network infrastructure and plant-floor systems
– Experience leading infrastructure modernization or remediation projects
– Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST)
– Ability to manage cross-functional teams in operational environments

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience with industrial Ethernet, Layer 2/3 networking, and wireless in plant environments
– Background in manufacturing, energy, or heavy industrial sectors
– Experience working in live production environments with uptime constraints
– PMP or equivalent certification
