<p style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:0in;text-align:center;" data-pasted="true"><strong>GENERAL MAINTENANCE SEASONAL </strong></p><p style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:0in;text-align:center;"><strong>PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT</strong></p><p style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:0in;text-align:center;"><strong>$19.00 per hour</strong></p><p style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:10.0pt;margin-left:0in;">The Village of Woodridge is offering temporary positions working up to 40 hours per week for Public Works as a General Maintenance Seasonal. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The hourly rate is $19.00 per hour with some opportunity for overtime.</p><p style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:10.0pt;margin-left:0in;"><strong>ALL POSITIONS ARE TEMPORARY, BEGINNING IN MAY OR EARLY JUNE AND LASTING <u>APPROXIMATELY</u> 1000 HOURS. </strong></p><p style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:10.0pt;margin-left:0in;">Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. In-person interviews and interviews via ZOOM will be conducted as applications are received<strong>.</strong></p><undefined>Work involves manual labor and is primarily outdoors. Duties include assisting street, water, sewer, facility and fleet maintenance crews with daily operations.</undefined><br><br><p style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:10.0pt;margin-left:0in;" data-pasted="true">Uniforms, personal safety equipment and on the job training provided by the Village. </p><undefined><br></undefined><ul style="padding-left: 2rem; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 3pt; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;" data-pasted="true"><li style=" margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><strong style=" font-weight: 700;">Applicants must be 18 years of age</strong>, possess a valid Illinois driver’s license and have a good driving record.</li><li style=" margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds on an infrequent basis. Sufficient strength and agility are required to perform manual tasks for prolonged periods. </li><li style=" margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">Individuals should be self-motivated and provide excellent service. </li><li style=" margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">Bilingual language skills a plus.</li><li style=" margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">Chosen candidates are required to pass a<strong style=" font-weight: 700;"><u>pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background and criminal history investigation.</u></strong></li></ul><div style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><ul style=" padding-left: 2rem; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 3pt;"><li style=" margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">Once hired, must obtain a driver’s license endorsement in order to drive small dump trucks.
