Job Description<h1>Senior Product Manager</h1>Build the operating system for healthcare reimbursementHealthcare providers lose billions of dollars every year to reimbursement errors, payer complexity, and broken revenue cycle workflows. Zelis helps healthcare teams identify, understand, and resolve those problems.As a Senior Product Manager at Zelis, you’ll own meaningful product initiatives from start to finish. You’ll identify important customer problems, shape solutions with design and engineering, and drive those solutions through development and launch.You’ll work directly with our VP of Product in a small, senior product team where product managers are responsible for both strategy and execution.This is a role for someone who enjoys deep problem solving, customer discovery, and building products that materially improve how people work.<h1>What You'll Do</h1><h3>Decide what Zelis should build</h3><ul><li>Identify high-impact problems across healthcare reimbursement workflows</li><li>Synthesize insights from customer conversations, product data, and industry dynamics</li><li>Help shape Zelis' product roadmap and long-term strategy</li></ul><h3>Lead deep product discovery</h3><ul><li>Interview healthcare operators to understand complex operational problems</li><li>Identify patterns across customer feedback and feature requests</li><li>Define the problems that matter most to solve and solutions that customers will use and love</li></ul><h3>Turn insights into products</h3><ul><li>Define clear use cases and product requirements</li><li>Work closely with design to prototype and test solutions with customers</li><li>Collaborate with engineering to ensure solutions are technically feasible</li></ul><h3>Drive initiatives end-to-end</h3><ul><li>Partner with engineering throughout development</li><li>Ensure new features deliver meaningful outcomes for customers</li><li>Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success on go-to-market motion</li></ul><h1>How Product Development Works at Zelis</h1>We follow a structured discovery and design process before building new features.Product managers work closely with design and engineering through stages including:<ul><li>Customer discovery</li><li>Defining use cases</li><li>Wireframing and user testing</li><li>Technical feasibility review</li><li>Final fidelity design</li></ul>Once development begins, product managers continue to partner with engineering through build, QA, and iteration.<h1>Who Thrives in This Role</h1>You’ll likely enjoy this role if you:<ul><li>Like talking to customers and understanding messy real-world problems</li><li>Prefer small teams with high ownership</li><li>Want to influence product strategy, not just manage a backlog</li><li>Want to build AI into user-facing features, as well as use AI for your personal work</li><li>Enjoy working closely with designers and engineers to shape solutions</li></ul><h1>Ideal Background</h1><ul><li>5+ years of product management experience</li><li>Experience shipping B2B SaaS products</li><li>Strong customer discovery and product thinking skills</li><li>Experience leading complex initiatives from concept to launch</li></ul>Healthcare experience is helpful but not required.<div><div>Please note at this time we are unable to proceed with candidates who require visa sponsorship now or in the future.Location and Workplace FlexibilityWe have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.</div></div>Base Salary Range$139,000.00 - $176,700.00At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.Zelis’ full-time associates are eligible for a highly competitive benefits package as well, which demonstrates our commitment to our employees’ health, well-being, and financial protection.
