Zurich is seeking an individual interested in growing their claims career with our Commercial General Liability Team. The candidate selected for this opportunity can be remote if based out of California or a hybrid work schedule in one of the following North American Claims offices: Omaha, NE; Maitland, FL; Gold River, CA; Addison, TX; Atlanta, GA; Overland Park, KS; New York, NY; or Schaumburg, IL As a Senior Claims Specialist, you will work with a team of claims professionals with diverse experiences and backgrounds. This environment will support your development as you hone your technical skill set in General Liability policy interpretation and coverage analysis to resolve your claims effectively. At this level, you will handle multi-party commercial line claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity within specific authority limits, to ensure that claims are handled in the most efficient, effective way while delivering a customer-centric claims service. You will be expected to collaborate and develop partnerships with internal and external points of contact including customers, vendors, suppliers, and brokers to provide a quality claims experience. Additionally, you will learn and develop knowledge of established protocols and industry best practices to ensure that claims are handled in the most efficient, effective way while delivering a quality customer-centric claims experience. helvetica, sans-serif">Juris Doctor with 2+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management OR</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management OR</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">High School Diploma Equivalent with 8+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management OR</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 6+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management OR</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px;line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 6+ years of experience in Claims and/or Liability (CGL) construction claims, including third-party bodily injury and property damage.</li> <li style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">6+ years of experience managing construction general liability claims involving bodily injury and property damage under wrap-up policies.</li> <li style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">6+ years of experience with OCIP/CCIP wrap-up policies.</li> <li style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Extensive litigation experience.</li> <li style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Currently hold an active adjusters license</li> <li style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience collaborating across work groups ability to develop and maintain strong relationships</li> <li style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Understands claims adjustment process and possesses the ability to determine scope/exposure for losses</li> <li style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Understands the use of vendors and how litigation strategies are developed</li> <li style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Understands and applies sans-serif">Familiarity with negotiation strategies and experience in suggesting alternative approaches</li> <li The proposed Salary range for this position is $75,800.00 - $124,100.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
