SPED Teacher (Homebound) Part-Time | Willis ISD | Willis, TX

Willis Independent School District is seeking a Special Education (SPED) Teacher to provide homebound instruction for a 3rd-grade student in a life skills program. This is a low-hour, flexible opportunity with potential to extend into ESY or the next school year.

Position Details:

Location: Willis, TX
Setting: Onsite (Homebound)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: ESY (TBD, with possible extension into next school year)
Schedule: 5 hours/week total
4 hours instruction
1 hour prep

Caseload:

1 student 3rd Grade Life Skills
Provide individualized instruction aligned with SPED and life skills curriculum

Role Overview:

Deliver homebound educational services
Adapt instruction to meet students cognitive and functional needs
Track progress and maintain required documentation
Collaborate with district staff as needed

Requirements:

Active SPED certification (Texas)
Experience with life skills or special education populations preferred
Ability to work independently in a homebound setting
