Software Engineer, New Grad - Infrastructure

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Build shared infrastructure supporting Palantir Foundry, Gotham, and Apollo platforms.
  • Work within one of four infrastructure categories: Backend Infrastructure, Developer Infrastructure, Frontend Infrastructure, or Storage Infrastructure.
  • Develop features to improve developer experience and enhance scalability and reliability of Palantir’s platforms.
  • Participate throughout the product lifecycle from design to rollout.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to address developer and customer challenges.
  • Be paired with a mentor focused on your growth and success.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
  • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, frontend frameworks, and related technical tools.
  • Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • Passion for helping developers build better applications.
  • Empathy for the impact of your changes on developer workflows and productivity.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineers, users, and non-technical team members.
  • Ability to learn independently and ask effective questions.
  • Eagerness to explore open-source library source code to understand or debug issues.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry practices and open-source technology advancements.
  • Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated salary range: $145,000 - $155,000 per year.
  • Potential additional compensation including Restricted Stock Units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.
