Shopify E-Commerce Architect

Owning the technical architecture and platform design for the Shopify Plus ecosystem, the full-time remote Shopify E-Commerce Architect will define integration strategies, establish performance and security standards, and lead the evolution of composable commerce to enhance the bridal shopping experience. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end Shopify Plus architecture, including themes, apps, and integrations with enterprise systems Design scalable and secure integrations between Shopify and various enterprise platforms, ensuring optimal data flows Define performance, security, and accessibility standards while providing technical oversight to development teams Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in designing and supporting large-scale eCommerce platforms 5+ years of experience architecting solutions on Shopify or Shopify Plus Hands-on expertise with Shopify Storefront API, Admin API, and GraphQL Proven experience with composable or headless commerce using frameworks like Hydrogen or Next.js Strong knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices for eCommerce
