The Senior Travel Consultant, ERM is responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.) and handling additional duties as assigned within a global, mutli- regional setup. You will be the primary point of contact for the customer and provide active travel consultation towards the business customers, including providing travel details and up-selling of related products. This position demonstrates an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the travel industry. You wil work independently on requests as assigned and take the initiative to provide assistance. The Senior Travel Consultant, ERM works with the team to provide day-to-day assistance. You will be the first point of contact for team members and respond to questions, providing direction on policies and procedures. You may work in project teams on projects related to operations and coach travel consultants when team lead is absent. As a Senior Travel Consultant, ERM, you will <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Expertly use the appropriate the BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Anticipate and provide assistance on potential challenges that may arise for the customer</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Respond to the customer promptly and provide the customer with your undivided attention to the request</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Seek opportunities to review operational processes and the commercial relationship with customer and provides suggestions for improvement</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Perform quality management such as error management and assist in projects as assigned </li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Meet individual and team goals </li> </ul> About you <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Proven experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel environments</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Hands‑on expertise managing crew movements, rotations, and disruption handling</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurately under pressure</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, 24/7 service environment</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a global, multi‑regional operations setup</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures and processes</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Advanced skills on GDS Amadeus</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Strong verbal and written communication skills in English</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem resolution skills</li> </ul> What we offer you At BCD Travel, we work with highly motivated and passionate people.
