Senior Operations Manager - Distribution Center

Responsibilities: Oversee all daily operations of the distribution center, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Manage, train, and develop a team of warehouse supervisors and associates. Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and company policies. Manage inventory levels and accuracy, implementing robust control measures. Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory, manage workflows, and generate reports. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance. Collaborate with transportation, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans to achieve targets. Manage operational budgets and control expenses. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in warehouse and distribution center management. Proven experience in managing large teams and complex warehouse operations. Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related technologies. Excellent understanding of inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics processes. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and achieve KPIs. Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
