Senior Automation Test Engineer

<h2>Overview</h2> <p><strong><u>Role Summary</u></strong></p> <p>Seeking a skilled and client-focused Senior Quality Engineer with strong hands-on experience in UI, API, Mobile, and Mainframe automation. The role involves designing, developing, and continuously maintaining automation test scripts across multiple applications and platforms.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI, API, Mobile, and Mainframe testing.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with developers and business stakeholders to define, review, and refine test cases and Gherkin feature files.</li> <li>Implement reusable utility methods and modular step definitions to promote scalability and maintainability.</li> <li>Develop, execute, debug, and analyze automated test scripts to ensure quality and stability.</li> <li>Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.</li> <li>Analyze automation test results, identify defects, log issues, and follow through with development teams to closure.</li> <li>Manage test data and environment configurations to ensure consistent and reliable test execution.</li> <li>Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and contribute to continuous QA process improvement.</li> <li>To do effort estimates for Automation scripting</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong><u>Required Skills and Experience:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, RestAssured and Appium with JAVA.</li> <li>Additional experience with Node.js-based automation frameworks such as WebDriverIO and Axios.</li> <li>Solid understanding of BDD using Cucumber, TestNG, Git, and Maven.</li> <li>Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and generating reports using Extent and Allure.</li> <li>Good knowledge of Agile methodologies, QE best practices, and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).</li> <li>Strong analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.</li> <li>Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms such as Lambda Test and Sauce Labs.</li> <li>Nice to have experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.</li> <li>Basic knowledge of SQL CRUD operations and experience working with Mainframe terminal screens.</li> </ul> <h2>Experience</h2> <p>7+ Years</p>
