Employment Terms & Visa Policy This is a 100% remote, full-time, direct W2 position with Bright Vision Technologies. This role is part of Bright Vision Technologies’ in-house Statement of Work (SOW) engagement. The client, end customer, and employer for this position is Bright Vision Technologies — there is no third-party client, vendor, or implementation partner involved. We do not engage in C2C, 1099, or third-party arrangements for this role. BUT STRICTLY NO C2C/1099/3RD PARTY COMPANIES. ALL OUR ROLES ARE W2 AND NO 3RD PARTY BROKERING PLEASE. Candidates must be willing to work directly as a full-time W2 employee of Bright Vision Technologies and contribute to our in-house SOW deliverables. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP Fiori / UI5 Developer to design, build, and enhance modern, user-friendly SAP applications that meet enterprise standards for usability, performance, and maintainability. In this role you will own the full Fiori/UI5 development lifecycle, working closely with functional consultants, ABAP developers, and UX teams to deliver responsive Fiori applications across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in SAPUI5, Fiori elements, and OData with a strong sense of UX, accessibility, and clean-architecture principles, and will adhere to SAP Fiori Design Guidelines while delivering business value through well-designed user experiences. Key Responsibilities<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, Fiori elements, and the Fiori Launchpad, ensuring adherence to SAP Fiori Design Guidelines.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Build and consume OData v2/v4 services, including model definitions, navigation properties, expansions, and batch operations.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Implement custom controls, formatters, fragments, and reusable components in line with internal coding standards.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Develop role-based Fiori Launchpad configurations, including catalogs, groups, tiles, and target mappings.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Optimize Fiori applications for performance, including bundling, caching, lazy loading, and reduction of network round trips.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Build adaptive applications using flexibility services and key-user adaptation features of S/4HANA.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Implement strong authentication and authorization patterns aligned with SAP security guidelines.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Integrate Fiori applications with SAP BTP services, including XSUAA, Workflow, and Document Service.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Support deployment of Fiori applications to both ABAP frontend servers and BTP-hosted runtimes.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Collaborate closely with ABAP developers to define backend OData services and CDS views that support efficient Fiori applications.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Conduct thorough functional, regression, and cross-device/cross-browser testing of applications, including edge-case validation and accessibility checks, to ensure consistent user experience across the supported platform matrix.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, including issue triage, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation — including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures — so that the system remains supportable, auditable, and easy to onboard new engineers onto over time.</li></ul> Required Qualifications<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Five or more years of SAP Fiori / UI5 development experience.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Strong hands-on experience with SAPUI5, Fiori elements, and the Fiori Launchpad.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Solid experience with OData v2/v4 modeling and consumption.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Hands-on experience with HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), and CSS.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Working knowledge of ABAP CDS views, BOPF, and gateway service development.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience deploying Fiori applications to ABAP frontend and BTP runtimes.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and SAP security patterns.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Excellent attention to UX, accessibility, and performance.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Strong communication and documentation skills.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">SAP certifications in Fiori / UI5 development.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Hands-on experience with SAP Build Apps / Low-Code platforms.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience with SAP Mobile Services or hybrid mobile applications.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Familiarity with CI/CD tooling for SAPUI5 (Project Piper, GitHub Actions).</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Exposure to TypeScript-based UI5 development.</li></ul> How to Apply Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
