[Remote] Member of Partnerships Staff
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Runway-ml is building AI to simulate the world by merging art and science. They are seeking a Senior Member of Partnerships Staff to operationalize and scale relationships with strategic partners, taking complex opportunities from inception to execution.
Responsibilities
- Run point on some of Runway's most strategic partnerships across product, GTM, ecosystem, and bespoke strategic deals that don't fit any single bucket
- Take complex, ambiguous opportunities from zero to launched — sourcing, structuring, negotiating, executing, and operationalizing — without waiting for a playbook to be handed to you
- Foster deep, trusted relationships with executives and senior leadership at our most important partners, from large technology companies and Fortune 100 enterprises to the content platforms shaping the next decade of AI
- Conceptualize, document, and articulate novel partnership models for Runway; think creatively beyond what exists today to imagine the structures and motions that should
- Develop a deep, functional and technical understanding of our products and future roadmap, with a keen sense of where partnerships can compound product velocity and reach
- Partner closely with Product, Creative, Research, and Commercial teams to share partner feedback and shape opportunities for further product development
- Build the early operating muscle for partnerships at Runway — frameworks, deal templates, governance, reporting — so the function scales with us
- Systematically track activity, deal performance, and market feedback to refine strategy, identify patterns, and enable Runway's competitive advantage and market growth
Skills
- 8+ years of overall experience across some combination of strategic partnerships, business development, GTM, corporate development, consulting, or founding/operating — with a track record of having owned outcomes end-to-end
- Are motivated by the opportunity to build new systems in a high-growth environment, with a focus on quality, scale, and automation
- Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated ability to convert complex data and information into actionable insights and strategy
- Demonstrated range: you've done the deal and the integration and the launch
- Exceptional executive presence and communication, with the ability to hold your own with a studio chief, a CTO, and a Runway research lead in the same week
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with expansive ownership
- A strong bias towards action and belief that no task is too small for you
- High technical aptitude for understanding complex technologies, tools, systems, and issues
- Mindset to think creatively and think beyond past checklists and playbooks
- Highly resourceful with the ability to create structure and work autonomously amidst ambiguity
- New York or SF-based preferred
