Job Title: Product Testing Analyst - Capital Markets

Location:Chennai,Mumbai,Hyderabad

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Product Testing Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets, testing methodologies, and data validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end Product / Model Office Testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables across complex financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Core Product / Model Office Testing across capital market applications
  • Understand and validate workflows within Front-to-Back (F2B) operations
  • Work across multiple asset classes such as Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives
  • Design and execute test cases, identify defects, and track them through resolution
  • Maintain and document all test artifacts (Test Plans, Test Cases, Defect Logs, etc.)
  • Collaborate with business, development, and operations teams for issue resolution
  • Perform data validation using SQL queries
  • Support UAT cycles and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 6 - 12 years of experience in Product Testing / QA within Capital Markets
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test lifecycle, and defect management
  • Solid knowledge of Front-to-Back (F2B) operations in investment banking
  • Hands-on experience with multiple asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives)
  • Strong expertise in SQL for data validation and analysis
  • Mandatory: Experience in Data Warehousing (DWH) and ETL processes
  • Experience with testing tools such as HP ALM, JIRA (preferred)
  • Knowledge of benchmarks is an added advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and take ownership of deliverables
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in Model Office Testing
  • Exposure to Capital Market platforms / systems
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
