Platform / Infrastructure Engineer | SF Hybrid

We're hiring a Platform/Infra Engineer to build and scale the core systems powering a fast-growing AI security startup in San Francisco.

The role:

⚡ Own backend systems, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure

⚡ Build real-time streaming infrastructure (Kafka, ETL, reverse ETL)

⚡ Collaborate with data and ML teams on production-grade systems

⚡ Improve reliability, observability, and scalability across the stack

⚡ Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical direction

You bring:

✅ 5–10 years as a backend, infra, or platform engineer

✅ Deep Kafka experience — event schema design, streaming ETL

✅ Strong AWS or GCP background

✅ Tenure at fast-growing startups (3–4+ years in one place)
