Interventional Radiology Opportunity | 100% IR Practice | Inpatient High Volume | Join a Growing, Fully Supported Team
We are actively recruiting a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join a rapidly expanding, 100% IR-focused service line within a well-supported hospital system. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-volume, inpatient-based practice with strong procedural diversity, dedicated support, and significant growth potential.Practice Overview
- 100% Interventional Radiology (no diagnostic radiology responsibilities)
- Dedicated IR service line with strong institutional support
- Independent contractor supports partial weekend coverage
- Fully growth-driven opportunity (no turnover-based opening)
Clinical Scope
This is a broad and expanding IR practice with a strong procedural mix, including:- Vascular & endovascular interventions
- Neurointerventional procedures (with future expansion planned)
- Non-vascular interventions (biopsies, drainages)
- Chronic disease interventions
- Pain management & spine procedures
- GI-related interventions
- PICC lines, ports, central venous access
- Joint aspirations and bedside procedures
Volume & Practice Environment
- High-volume practice: 15-25 IR cases/day
- 100% inpatient-based (no outpatient clinic currently)
- No requirement to build referral base-strong existing inpatient demand
- Clinic infrastructure to be developed upon arrival of new physician
Schedule & Call
- 40-hour work week (varied daily structure)
- 100% IR clinical focus
- No DR call responsibilities
- No night teleradiology requirement
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary + productivity incentives
- Targeted at 90th percentile or higher earning potential

- 4 IR suites shared across service lines
- Planned expansion of procedural capacity beginning Fall 2027
- Fully staffed nursing and technical teams

- Standard IR equipment with ability to expand advanced procedural capability
Ideal Candidate
- Fellowship-trained in Interventional Radiology required
- Board Eligible or Board Certified (certification required)
- Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians
- Procedural versatility welcomed-advanced skills supported but not required
- Team-oriented physicians interested in building within a growing IR program
