PHYSICAL THERAPY AIDE
ACES HOME HEALTH AND REHAB CLINIC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Physical Therapy Aide. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the treatment and care of our patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist the physical therapy team in providing treatment to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Schedule patient appointments, managing calendars, and ensuring smooth patient flow.
- Verify insurance coverage and process necessary paperwork.
- Navigate and maintain electronic medical records system with attention to detail.
- Handle faxing, scanning, and emailing of important documents.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment areas and common spaces.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or as a physical therapy aide is preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills with experience in using electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Willingness to contribute to light cleaning duties to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology.
Position Details:
- Part-time position, approximately 20-25 hours per week.
- Pay range: $16 to $22 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
