Job Summary

As a Part-Time Airline Ramp Agent & Passenger Services Representative at arenaflex, you will play a dual role that combines ground handling operations with passenger services. This position is essential to our airport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo, the timely handling of luggage, and the delivery of world-class customer service to airline passengers.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and quantity in your work, following established procedures and safety protocols at all times. Your role will involve operating vehicles and equipment, communicating with flight crews, and providing assistance to passengers throughout their travel experience. You will also be expected to remain vigilant regarding security procedures and report any suspicious activities or breaches to management immediately.

This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement and requires membership in the Transport Workers Union (TWU). We encourage all qualified candidates to apply and become part of our award-winning team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep airline operations running smoothly. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

    Aircraft Cargo Handling:

    Load and unload aircraft cargo weighing up to 70 pounds in and out of confined cargo areas. This involves pushing, pulling, and positioning cargo within the aircraft while maintaining safety and efficiency.

      Vehicle Operations:

      Drive vehicles with gross weights ranging from 3,000 to 80,000 pounds in areas congested with aircraft, moving and stationary vehicles, and equipment. You must demonstrate excellent depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors (red, green, and yellow) for safe positioning.

        Aircraft Push-Out Operations:

        Participate in aircraft push-out operations by driving 80,000-pound vehicles or providing guide functions to drivers. This requires precise depth perception in congested areas and clear communication with cockpit personnel during push-back procedures.

          Cargo Transportation:

          Transport cargo to and from aircraft using 3,000-pound vehicles, navigating through congested areas while reading off-load sheets to determine cargo destinations.

            Ground-to-Cockpit Communication:
