Oracle EBS Finance Techno-Functional Senior Consultant1<h1>Job Title: Oracle EBS Finance Techno-Functional Senior Consultant</h1>Job Type: Full-Time Location: Cancún, Mexico (Preferred) / Remote (Mexico region) Language Requirement: Spanish (Professional fluency preferred) No. Of Position: 1<h2>Role Overview</h2>We are looking for a seasoned Oracle EBS Finance Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Finance modules and Mexico localization requirements. The ideal candidate must be capable of handling L2/L3 support, coordinating with customer stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Mexican tax and statutory regulations, and driving functional/technical resolutions. Preference will be given to Spanish-speaking candidates and those located in Cancún or nearby regions.<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><h3>Customer Engagement & Application Support</h3><ul><li>Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day application support.</li><li>Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle EBS Finance modules and Mexico localization features.</li><li>Attend customer meetings and translate functional requirements effectively.</li><li>Provide on-call support for P1 issues, adhering to SLAs. </li></ul><h3>Localization & Compliance (Mexico)</h3><ul><li>Ensure compliance with Mexican tax, statutory, and fiscal regulations, including: <ul><li>CFDI (Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet) electronic invoicing </li><li>SAT requirements and validation </li><li>Localization patches and regulatory updates </li><li>Withholding tax configurations </li></ul></li><li>Collaborate with customer finance, tax, and local compliance teams.</li><li>Support month-end and year-end closure activities specific to Mexican finance laws. </li></ul><h3>Team & Coordination</h3><ul><li>Lead/mentor junior team members and allocate tasks.</li><li>Coordinate with business users, Oracle support, and third-party vendors. </li><li>Assist in patching, change requests, enhancements, and integration debugging.Maintain SOPs, KEDB, RCA reports and documentation.</li></ul><h2>Required Skills & Experience</h2><h3>Core Functional Skills</h3><ul><li>10+ years in Oracle EBS Finance techno-functional roles.</li><li>Hands-on experience with modules: <ul><li>GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Purchasing, Project Accounting</li><li>iExpense / iReceivables / iSupplier </li></ul></li><li>Strong understanding of Mexico localization (CFDI, SAT, Tax Rules).</li><li>Knowledge of statutory reports, withholding tax, electronic invoicing formats, etc. </li></ul><h3>Technical Skills</h3><ul><li>Good understanding of PL/SQL, XML Publisher, Unix/shell scripting.</li><li>Ability to analyze/debug seeded and custom concurrent programs.</li><li>Exposure to SOA/web services/bank integrations will be an advantage. </li></ul><h3>Language & Communication</h3><ul><li>Spanish-speaking (professional level preferred).</li><li>English proficiency must be good for interaction with global teams.</li><li>Ability to engage with finance users and explain functional impacts clearl</li></ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Prior experience working with Mexico-based clients/users.</li><li>Knowledge of US GAAP vs. Mexico statutory differences.</li><li>ITIL certification or support model experience.</li><li>Exposure to Oracle Cloud Finance a plus.</li></ul><h2>Soft Skills</h2><ul><li>Customer-centric mindset with responsiveness to escalations.</li><li>Strong documentation and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and in distributed teams.</li><li>Proactive approach in identifying risks and proposing solutions.</li></ul><h2>Location Preference</h2><ul><li>Cancún, Mexico – Highly preferred</li><li>Other Mexico regions – Acceptable (Remote)</li><li>Must be available to work US time-zone overlap </li></ul><h2>Growth Opportunities</h2><ul><li>Finance Localization Lead (Mexico & LATAM)</li><li>Senior Oracle Finance SME / Solution Architect</li><li>Transition opportunity to Oracle Cloud Finance</li><li>Delivery Lead / Advisory Consultant</li></ul>
