LIFEGUARD
AQUATICS PROGRAMS & OPERATIONS - The Town of Herndon boasts a unique balance of strong sense of community and being a next generation small town and each employee is pivotal in providing exceptional services to our citizens. The Town of Herndon Seeking attentive, energetic lifeguards to maintain safety for indoor pool for weekday and weekend coverage. As a Lifeguard, you will ensure safety of patrons in and around the aquatic facility.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safety: Ensuring a safe and clean environment for students, enforcing pool rules, and responding to emergencies
- Communication: Communicating with patrons and supervisor with strong customer service skills.
- Record keeping: Maintaining accurate records of pool chemistry and accident and incident reports.
American Red Cross lifeguard, first-aid CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer
Fairfax County Pool Operator preferred
Morning and afternoon availability preferred
Bilingual English & Spanish a plus
Hours: Varies on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

Due to the nature of a government providing services to the public all duties of this position are required to be fulfilled at the designated worksite in the town. No remote work is available.
