Consulting is seeking a motivated IT Intern to support project-based initiatives within our Global IT organization. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience through clearly defined, outcome-oriented projects rather than purely operational support. Depending on business needs and the intern’s interests, projects may focus on hardware setup and provisioning improvements, workflow automation, or applied AI initiatives.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Assist with a key project that furthers an IT objective. Example projects are as follows: </li><li>Assess and document existing IT processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, or standardization </li><li>Support the redesign and improvement of hardware provisioning and endpoint setup workflows</li><li>Assist with the development or enhancement of automated IT workflows using scripting or low-code tools</li><li>Contribute to small-scale AI or data-driven proof-of-concept initiatives aligned to internal productivity or service improvements</li><li>Produce clear documentation, recommendations, and handover materials to enable long-term adoption of delivered solutions</li><li>Collaborate with IT team members and stakeholders to define requirements, track progress, and deliver agreed outcomes <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems </li><li>Ability to work independently on defined projects while collaborating effectively with a broader team </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills  <br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Microsoft Power Automate) </li><li>Familiarity with IT service workflows, endpoint management concepts, or operational process improvement </li><li>Exposure to AI, data analysis, or applied analytics through coursework or project experience  <br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Information:</strong> <br><br><ul><li>The expected hourly range for this position is $18-20 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.</li><li>This role is based in our Boston and Chicago offices and follows our hybrid work model for U.S. offices.  We require employees to be in their assigned home office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week, as well as the first Friday of each month.</li><li>Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
