The HR Business Partner will be responsible for day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth processes, accurate systems, and a positive employee experience.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Employee Relations</p><ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, concerns, and workplace issues </li><li>Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding company policies, performance concerns, workplace conflict, attendance, and disciplinary matters </li><li>Conduct employee investigations and document findings appropriately </li><li>Support conflict resolution and help maintain a positive work environment </li><li>Assist with employee coaching, corrective action processes, and performance management documentation </li><li>Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations </li></ul><p>HR Administration</p><ul><li>Manage and maintain employee records, HR files, and documentation in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements </li><li>Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, orientation, system setup coordination, and exit procedures </li><li>Administer employee status changes, benefits enrollment support, PTO tracking, and HRIS updates </li><li>Ensure accuracy and organization of all HR forms, records, and personnel documentation </li><li>Coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and related administrative processes </li><li>Support payroll administration by coordinating employee data changes and ensuring timely communication with payroll providers </li></ul><p>Policy & Compliance</p><ul><li>Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations for employees in multiple states</li><li>Maintain and update employee handbook, HR policies, and internal procedures </li><li>Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance documentation </li><li>Monitor HR practices to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization </li></ul><p>Recruiting & Hiring Support</p><ul><li>Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication </li><li>Assist managers with hiring processes and onboarding preparation </li><li>Manage job postings and applicant tracking administration </li><li>Support recruiting efforts and candidate experience initiatives </li></ul><p>Culture & Employee Support</p><ul><li>Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communication efforts </li><li>Assist with company events, recognition programs, and employee appreciation activities </li><li>Promote a professional, collaborative, and service-oriented HR presence across the organization </li></ul><p><br></p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred </li><li>2-5+ years of HR experience, with strong emphasis on employee relations and HR administration </li><li>Strong knowledge of federal employment law and HR best practices </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism </li><li>Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills </li><li>Proficiency with ADP preferred but not required</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard HR administrative processes </li><li>SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification preferred or in process to acquiring</li></ul>
