As a Barista at BigFoot Java, you will be the face of the company, responsible for educating customers about the beverage menu and ensuring an outstanding coffee experience. This role is not only about preparing excellent quality beverages but also about delivering friendly service, maintaining cleanliness, and managing day-to-day operations of the coffee stand. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for coffee, and a desire to be actively involved in the company. This position requires excellent communication skills to solve customer challenges, participate respectfully with co-workers and management, and contribute to positive staff morale. The Barista will also perform financial reporting, cash handling, and operate the POS system according to company protocols. Experience in coffee preparation is preferred but not mandatory, making this an excellent opportunity for those eager to grow and learn in a supportive environment. The role requires the ability to work independently or in a team, adapt to a fast-paced setting, and comply with health and safety regulations. BigFoot Java offers an employment opportunity with an hourly wage starting at $17.35 plus tips, with overtime pay for hours worked over 40 per week. Additional benefits include paid time off, free coffee beverages during shifts, and a 401K program after 90 days. Occasional meetings at the corporate office in Pacific are required.
