You'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting both administrative and operational functions of the practice.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p><p><strong>Patient Experience & Front Office Operations</strong></p><ul><li>Welcome patients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion</li><li>Check patients in and verify demographics, insurance information, referrals, and authorizations</li><li>Answer and manage multi-line phone calls efficiently</li><li>Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments</li><li>Collect copays and patient balances while processing payments accurately</li><li>Maintain and update patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system</li><li>Scan, upload, and organize medical documentation</li><li>Coordinate communication with pharmacies, imaging centers, insurance providers, and referring physicians</li><li>Help manage appointment flow to support efficient patient scheduling</li><li>Address patient questions and concerns with excellent customer service</li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Administrative Support</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality</li><li>Assist with office organization and daily workflow management</li><li>Perform clerical duties, including filing, faxing, copying, and data entry</li><li>Support diabetic shoe documentation and related paperwork as assigned</li><li>Participate in team meetings and ongoing training opportunities</li><li>Provide additional administrative support during busy periods</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Team Collaboration</strong></p><ul><li>Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to support exceptional patient care</li><li>Assist with various office functions as needed</li><li>Adapt to changing priorities and workflow demands</li><li>Maintain a positive, professional, and solution-oriented attitude</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting</li><li>Familiarity with medical terminology</li><li>Experience verifying insurance benefits and authorizations</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills & Attributes</strong></p><ul><li>Outstanding customer service and communication skills</li><li>Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively</li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday</li><li>Ability to use standard office equipment and computer systems</li><li>Ability to manage the demands of a busy patient-care setting</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Employment Information:</strong></p><p>All new team members participate in a 90-day introductory period.
