Forklift Operative

<strong>JOB TITLE: Forklift Operative / Stores<br><br></strong><strong>DEPARTMENT: Factory based<br><br></strong><strong>REPORTING TO: Stores Manager / Stores Supervisor<br><br></strong><strong>Duties<br><br></strong><ul><li> General warehouse duties to include:</li><li>Picking</li><li>Quality inspecting</li><li>Stacking</li><li>Labelling</li><li>Working in warehouse, loading and unloading containers, pallets, modules or vehicle, manual handling training will be given</li><li>Palletising</li><li>General warehouse duties</li><li> Ensure warehouse areas are kept clear and tidy, at all times</li><li> General housekeeping, ensuring all aisles and fire door areas are continually monitored for build up of debris</li><li> Remove all rubbish to appropriate skips/areas</li><li> Work within our ISO 9001 quality procedures</li><li> Any other duties required by supervisors</li><li> Counterbalance FLT licence required<br><br></li></ul><em>Full training will be provided.<br><br></em><strong>Skills And Attributes Required<br><br></strong><ul><li> Ability to manage multiple tasks, well organised, computer literate, willing to learn our systems</li><li> Previous stores/warehouse experience</li><li> Good literacy and numeracy skills</li><li> Drive and motivation</li><li> Excellent attendance and reliability record</li><li> An eye for detail</li><li> Be a team player<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li> We offer free on-site parking</li><li> Candidates must have the correct identification to work in the UK</li><li> We are an equal opportunities employer</li></ul>
