Compensation

$25 per hour The base pay range listed for this position may span multiple levels of experience, and final compensation is determined by a variety of job-related factors, including relevant experience, demonstrated expertise, and internal equity.

The posted range applies to base salary only and does not include additional elements of total compensation, which may include equity, performance-based incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

As a Summer Intern on the Finance team, you will get a front-row seat to how financial operations and data systems intersect at a major tech company. We don't expect you to know all the software on day one—we are looking for someone with intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn! Your core project will involve understanding how our data flows, mapping out the connections between our financial reporting and our systems, and helping us find ways to work smarter.
  • ️ What You’ll Do
  • Investigate and learn how data moves between our internal systems, tools, and major financial deliverables.
  • Analyze current workflows with a fresh perspective to help us spot redundancies and outline areas for process improvement.
  • Explore data architecture by researching ways to structure, process, and load financial data into a data management environment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to understand the 5W1H behind our operational mechanism.
  • Document your findings and present your recommendations to team leadership at the end of the summer.

What You’ll Bring

  • Foundational understanding of finance, accounting, and data analytics/science principles.
  • Tech-savvy mindset with a readiness to dive in and learn new software and tools.
  • Demonstrated interest in Poshmark’s mission, community, or industry.
  • Current or rising senior enrolled in an accredited university, or recent college graduate.
  • Seniors should expect to graduate between Fall 2026 and Summer 2027.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Available to work a M-F 5-day work schedule between 8am-5pm.
  • Willing to commute 5x per week to PMHQ in Redwood City, CA.
