Electrical Service Technician
Kudzu Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician for a reputable electrical contractor in the Columbia, SC area. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in residential electrical work, with the ability to troubleshoot existing systems and perform new service installations. Candidates must be reliable, safety-focused, and capable of working in varying weather conditions.
Requirements of the Residential Electrical Service Technician position:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential and commercial electrical work
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform new service installations
- Clean and valid Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls professionally
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities of the Electrical Service Technician:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in existing systems
- Install and service residential and light commercial electrical systems
- Perform service upgrades, repairs, and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
- Perform other duties as assigned
