As an EHS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating a world-class safety culture, driving continuous improvement across environmental, health, and safety programs. This is an opportunity to shape and influence compliance and operational excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with exposure to high-impact initiatives in renewable energy markets.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with operations leadership to implement and reinforce a proactive safety culture focused on incident prevention and compliance.</li><li>Administer, monitor, and continuously improve safety and security policies, programs, and procedures, including conducting compliance audits and risk assessments.</li><li>Develop and deliver safety training for supervisors and employees, including creating content for orientations, safety meetings, and JSA development.</li><li>Oversee the Environmental Compliance program, ensuring adherence to permits and investigating compliance issues to recommend solutions.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering on Process Safety Management (PSM) program implementation, maintenance, and auditing.</li><li>Ensure accurate OSHA injury and illness record keeping and reporting, and manage return-to-work and incident investigation processes.</li><li>Perform compliance assessments, follow up on corrective actions, and liaise with regulatory agencies and external consultants as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Must-Have Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred</li><li>5+ years of experience in safety management within manufacturing environments.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and compliance requirements.</li><li>Proven ability to conduct health and safety risk assessments, compliance audits, and lead incident investigations.</li><li>Experience developing and delivering employee safety training programs.</li><li>Data collection and analytical skills for incident trend analysis.</li><li>Ability to manage Worker’s Compensation and return-to-work programs.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous supervisory or management experience in EHS roles.</li><li>Experience managing site emergency response teams.</li><li>Background in agriculture or industrial processing facility environments.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, evolving workplaces and adapt to changing priorities.</li><li>Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.</li></ul>
