Director / VP, Media & Strategic Partnerships (New York)

<p><strong><u>Overview</u></strong></p><p>A rapidly growing global digital media and creator-focused company is seeking a senior commercial leader to drive strategic media partnerships, branded content monetization, and emerging distribution initiatives across the US market.</p><p>This role will focus on developing scalable advertising and media solutions across premium digital ecosystems while building long-term relationships with agencies, brands, and strategic platform partners.</p><p>The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in digital media sales, strategic partnerships, creator-led media, and/or connected TV ecosystems, along with established relationships across the New York advertising market.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Please note:</strong> This role is only open to US Citizen's or those with a valid working visa for the United States.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><p><strong>Media & Commercial Partnerships</strong></p><ul><li>Develop strategic partnerships with agencies, advertisers, and media buying teams</li><li>Drive revenue growth through scalable media and branded content solutions</li><li>Build commercial frameworks for premium digital inventory and sponsorship opportunities</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to create packaged media offerings across multiple audience categories</li></ul><p><strong>Branded Content & Monetization</strong></p><ul><li>Support development of integrated branded content opportunities</li><li>Work cross-functionally with creative, partnerships, and strategy teams to deliver advertiser solutions</li><li>Build repeatable campaign structures and long-term client partnerships</li><li>Help standardize pricing, performance expectations, and commercial deliverables</li></ul><p><strong>Distribution & Platform Partnerships</strong></p><ul><li>Identify and develop opportunities across emerging digital distribution channels</li><li>Support strategic relationships with streaming, platform, and media ecosystem partners</li><li>Explore monetization opportunities across premium video and connected media environments</li></ul><p><strong>Agency & Client Development</strong></p><ul><li>Build and manage senior-level relationships across agencies, brands, and media organizations</li><li>Engage directly with investment teams, partnership leads, and marketing decision-makers</li><li>Drive long-term commercial partnerships and recurring revenue opportunities</li></ul><p><strong>Product & Revenue Strategy</strong></p><ul><li>Contribute to development of scalable media products and commercial offerings</li><li>Partner with data and strategy teams to enhance audience positioning and advertiser value</li><li>Support campaign reporting, measurement, and monetization optimization initiatives</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years in digital media, partnerships, advertising sales, branded content, adtech, or related industries</li><li>Experience working with agencies, media platforms, streaming ecosystems, creator-led businesses, or advertising technology environments</li><li>Strong understanding of modern digital advertising and media monetization models</li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Proven ability to build strategic commercial relationships</li><li>Strong understanding of media buying, digital advertising, and premium content monetization</li><li>Experience structuring scalable partnership or advertising solutions</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and business development capabilities</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Background</strong></p><p>Candidates from the following environments may be particularly relevant:</p><ul><li>Digital media platforms</li><li>Streaming / connected TV ecosystems</li><li>Adtech or programmatic businesses</li><li>Media agencies or holding groups</li><li>Creator economy / influencer marketing businesses</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you meet the above criteria and the role sounds interesting please drop your CV or number to have a confidential chat.</p>
