This role is ideal for a research and analytics leader who thrives at the<br>intersection of data, strategy, storytelling, and measurable communications impact, particularly within<br>health, wellness, and better-living sectors.</p> <p><br><span style="font-weight: bold">About the Role</span><br>The Director of Research & Insights will design, lead, and integrate research, audience intelligence, and<br>performance analytics across brand, reputation, and communications initiatives. You will transform<br>data into direction, uncovering meaningful insights that shape positioning, messaging, creative strategy,<br>and campaign effectiveness.<br>This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a builder: someone equally comfortable architecting<br>research programs, synthesizing insights, advising senior teams, and developing scalable measurement<br>frameworks.</p> <p><br><span style="font-weight: bold">Key Responsibilities</span><br>• Lead qualitative, quantitative, cultural, and secondary research initiatives<br>• Design and manage full-cycle research programs (surveys, focus groups, interviews, online<br>communities, stakeholder research)<br>• Moderate qualitative engagements across diverse audiences and stakeholders<br>• Translate research findings into clear, actionable strategic insights<br>• Partner with strategy, creative, digital, and account teams to inform campaigns and brand<br>narratives<br>• Develop measurement frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting<br>• Analyze communications effectiveness and provide optimization guidance<br>• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate insight development and analytics workflows<br>• Support new business efforts with research-backed narratives and opportunity framing<br>• Help build scalable tools, processes, and insights capabilities across the agency</p> <p><br><span style="font-weight: bold">Qualifications</span><br>• 6–10 years of experience in research, insights, analytics, or strategy (agency experience strongly<br>preferred)<br>• Bachelor’s Degree or certification required (master's degree is related field a plus)<br>• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative methodologies<br>• Experience in health, wellness, healthcare, or regulated sectors strongly preferred<br>• Strong ability to synthesize complex data into clear strategic direction<br>• Excellent storytelling and presentation skills<br>• Experience developing measurement frameworks and interpreting performance analytics<br>• Familiarity with social listening, audience intelligence, and AI-enabled research tools<br>• Strong project and vendor management skills<br>• Collaborative, curious, and comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment<br>• Experience implementing and working with advanced data tools and software (Power BI or<br>Tableau) a plus</p> <p><br><span style="font-weight: bold">Why BRG Communications</span><br>BRG Communications, named PRWeek Outstanding Small Agency of 2026 and certified as a Great Place<br>to Work ™ in 2025, is dedicated to advancing better living through strategic communications.
