Databricks Consultant
To support a fast-paced data and AI initiative, the remote Databricks Consultant will manage the setup, implementation, testing, and optimization of a Databricks Genie workspace while ensuring data quality and governance standards are met.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and launch a Databricks Genie workspace and review data readiness for reporting and analytics
- Finalize implementation of new ingestion patterns and review data pipelines to ensure data quality standards are met
- Create, curate, and manage Genie spaces with strong business context, including documentation and SQL expressions for core business metrics
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Genie spaces and Delta Lake architecture
- Strong SQL and data modeling experience
- Experience with silver/gold table structures and modern data pipeline frameworks
- Familiarity with LLM-powered analytics or conversational BI tools
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality best practices
