Data Scientist (Forecasting & Optimization)

To support a rapidly growing healthcare SaaS company, the contracted Data Scientist (Forecasting & Optimization) will design and implement predictive models, conduct large-scale data analyses, and collaborate on optimization modeling while working fully remotely within the United States. Key responsibilities Design and implement predictive and forecasting models for operational and strategic metrics Collaborate with lead data scientist to build and evolve core optimization models (MILP) for improved precision and efficiency Operate independently on complex analytical tasks and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders Required qualifications Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field 5+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics roles Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and big data tools, with experience in Gurobi Expertise in forecasting methods, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques/models Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
