Employment Type: Full-time, direct W2 with Bright Vision Technologies (no C2C, no 1099, no third-party) Engagement: Long-term, multi-year, aligned to the Bright Vision SOW delivery roadmap Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits. Employment Terms & Visa Policy This is a 100% remote, full-time, direct W2 position with Bright Vision Technologies. This role is part of Bright Vision Technologies’ in-house Statement of Work (SOW) engagement. The client, end customer, and employer for this position is Bright Vision Technologies — there is no third-party client, vendor, or implementation partner involved. We do not engage in C2C, 1099, or third-party arrangements for this role. BUT STRICTLY NO C2C/1099/3RD PARTY COMPANIES. ALL OUR ROLES ARE W2 AND NO 3RD PARTY BROKERING PLEASE. Candidates must be willing to work directly as a full-time W2 employee of Bright Vision Technologies and contribute to our in-house SOW deliverables. No new H1B sponsorship is available for this role. However, candidates who are currently on a valid H1B visa and require a transfer are welcome to apply. Job Summary We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains on a major cloud platform. The role partners closely with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with enterprise standards. The ideal candidate brings strong breadth across modern cloud capabilities, depth in at least one major provider, and the architectural judgment to balance time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability. Key Responsibilities<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Design end-to-end cloud solutions covering compute, networking, storage, identity, data, and observability layers.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Lead solution architecture reviews and approval processes for major cloud initiatives.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Define cloud landing zone, account structure, and tagging strategies for new and existing workloads.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Establish reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable patterns adopted across engineering teams.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Architect security, identity, and compliance controls embedded into the cloud foundation.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Design networking topologies including VPC/VNet design, transit hubs, hybrid connectivity, and private endpoints.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Lead cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives across application portfolios.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Drive cost optimization, capacity planning, and FinOps practices across the cloud estate, partnering with finance and engineering teams to make cloud spend transparent, predictable, and tied to delivered business value.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Partner with security architects to embed identity, data protection, and compliance controls from the outset.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Produce architecture artifacts including context diagrams, sequence diagrams, and decision records.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during solution delivery.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Engage with cloud providers and platform partners to evaluate roadmap fit.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Track emerging cloud capabilities and ecosystem developments, assessing relevance to current and planned workloads, and recommend strategic adoption based on demonstrated value and operational maturity.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Maintain alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory obligations, ensuring that cloud designs satisfy both engineering goals and the broader compliance posture of the organization.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Strong understanding of containerization, serverless, and managed data services.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Multiple cloud architecture certifications.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Exposure to regulated industries with strict cloud compliance requirements.</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Experience driving FinOps and cost transparency initiatives.</li></ul> How to Apply Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
