This role is responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and contract requirements.</p><p>The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, deep knowledge of civil construction methods, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades across complex infrastructure projects such as site development, utilities, grading, paving, and structural concrete.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>· Lead and manage all daily site operations for heavy civil construction projects including <strong>earthwork, grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and structural concrete</strong></p><p>· Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment operations to ensure efficient workflow and productivity</p><p>· Develop, maintain, and drive <strong>short-term and long-term construction schedules</strong>, proactively identifying and mitigating delays</p><p>· Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, inspectors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and permitting requirements</p><p>· Oversee installation of underground utilities including <strong>water, sewer, storm drainage, and associated structures</strong></p><p>· Ensure adherence to all <strong>OSHA safety standards</strong>, conduct safety meetings, and enforce a strong safety culture on-site</p><p>· Monitor quality control processes and ensure all work meets engineering standards and project specifications</p><p>· Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment allocation, and workforce planning</p><p>· Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents</p><p>· Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and unforeseen conditions in a timely and effective manner</p><p>· Maintain accurate daily reports, site logs, and progress documentation</p><p>· Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, inspections, and final approvals</p><p></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><p>· Minimum <strong>5+ years of experience </strong>in heavy civil construction, with at least <strong>2+ years in a supervisory role</strong></p><p>· Strong experience in <strong>site development, utilities, excavation, grading, and concrete operations</strong></p><p>· Proven ability to lead crews and coordinate multiple subcontractors on complex projects</p><p>· In-depth understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and cost control</p><p>· Strong knowledge of <strong>permitting, inspections, and civil construction regulations</strong></p><p>· Ability to read and interpret <strong>engineering drawings and specifications</strong></p><p>· Proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Office Suite </strong>(Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)</p><p>· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills</p><p>· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites within the Houston area</p><p></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field</strong></p><p>· Experience with <strong>DOT or municipal infrastructure projects</strong></p><p>· OSHA 30 certification</p><p>· First Aid / CPR / AED certification</p><p>· Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project)</p><p></p><p><strong>Compensation s Benefits</strong></p><p>· Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)</p><p>· Health insurance</p><p>· Paid time off (PTO)</p><p>· Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>· Primarily field-based role with exposure to outdoor conditions and active construction sites</p><p>· Requires physical presence on job sites and the ability to navigate uneven terrain and construction zones</p>
