Position Overview: As the Business Systems Lead- Procurement, you are a key member of the Global Business Services team, reporting to the Director, IT Business Partner & Technology Delivery. You will contribute to the success of Ball by leading and coordinating technology delivery and system delivery and system enhancements across projects using Agile or Stage Gate governance. Your Key Areas of Responsibility Include: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Support software development, system configuration, integrations, upgrades, and patching to meet business and technical requirements.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Technology capability and business capability subject matter expertise, tied to ownership of systems’ functional and technical designs and capabilities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Gather and document technical requirements and specifications, translating business needs into system solutions.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Coordinate Systems Integration Test (SIT) execution and User-Accepted Test (UAT) technology support, including environments, defect resolution, and change implementation.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Provide end-user and super-user support and training, driving adoption and effective system usage.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Support issue resolution and production support, including root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Assist with software and hardware selection, purchasing, and vendor management, including AMS support.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Contribute to technology cost estimates and resource planning in support of business case development.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Support data governance, data migration, integrations, and data hubs enabling self-service reporting and analytics.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Ensure adherence to technology standards, software standards, architecture, and governance.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Support IT controls, SOX testing, audits, and access management activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Contribute to technology roadmaps, portfolio management, and lifecycle planning.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Perform gap analysis, solution design, and cross-functional impact assessments.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Drive value realization and adoption of standard technologies and platforms through change management and alignment.</li> </ul> Required Skills and Experience: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>5+ years of progressive experience in business systems, IT delivery, or technology-enabled business roles.</li> <li>Demonstrated skills or experience supporting: <ul> <li>System implementations, enhancements, or integrations</li> <li>Agile and/or Stage Gate delivery models</li> <li>Enterprise and edge applications </li> <li>Testing activities (SIT and UAT support)</li> <li>Production support and issue resolution</li> <li>Experience working with vendors, AMS providers, or system integrators.</li> <li>Experience in regulated or controlled environments (SOX, IT controls, audits) preferred.</li> <li>Enterprise technology portfolio organization and effective delivery management across a global landscape</li> </ul> </li> <li>Strong understanding of: <ul> <li>System lifecycle management (requirements → design → build → test → deploy → support)</li> <li>Software development and configuration concepts.</li> <li>System integrations, data flows, and data migration.</li> <li>Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.</li> <li>Release, upgrade, and patch management</li> </ul> </li> </ul><div> <div> Compensation & Benefits: <ul> <li>Expected Hiring Salary Range:  $98,900 - $141,330 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.) </li> <li>This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan. </li> <li>Please visit our "Total Rewards" page to learn more about Ball’s comprehensive benefits structure. </li> <li>This role can be based remotely; however, regular travel to Ball facilities may be required.</li> </ul> When submitting your application to Ball, we encourage you to emphasize your skills, experience, and qualifications that align with the role.
