AV Infra/Streaming Platform Engineer

<p> </p><p> </p><p><span data-token-index="0">Mission</span> Design, operate, and harden the live AV pipeline (ingest → transport → packaging → CDN delivery) across multiple clouds and regions.</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Multi-cloud DevOps / SRE: hands-on with AWS and Tencent Cloud (or willingness to ramp on Tencent fast — APAC delivery matters). GCP a plus. Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), observability (CloudWatch, structured logs, tracing).</li> <li>CDN experience: configuring and debugging at least one major CDN (CloudFront, Tencent CDN/CSS, G-Core). Understands cache keys, signed URLs / token auth, origin shielding, purge strategies, multi-CDN failover.</li> <li>Backend: solid in Go and Python — Go for low-latency services and gRPC, Python for tooling, glue, probes.</li> <li>Networking fundamentals: UDP vs TCP, NAT/firewalls, TLS/mTLS, BGP/anycast at a conceptual level, packet-level debugging (tcpdump, Wireshark).</li> <li>Streaming concepts: RTP/SRT/RTMP ingest, HLS/DASH packaging, CDN delivery, latency tradeoffs, DRM (Widevine/FairPlay/PlayReady) at a high level, WebRTC/TURN basics.</li> <li>Security mindset: source authentication, credential rotation, IAM scoping (across AWS and Tencent), secrets handling, DRM key protection.</li> </ul> <p> </p><p><strong>Nice-to-have</strong></p> <ul> <li>China / APAC delivery experience (Tencent, Alibaba Cloud, ICP licensing realities).</li> <li>GStreamer / FFmpeg internals, transcoding pipelines.</li> <li>gRPC service design, protobuf schema evolution.</li> <li>Hands-on with SRT, WHIP/WHEP, Low-Latency HLS, MPEG-TS.</li> <li>Multi-CDN orchestration / steering (NPAW, Cedexis-style logic).</li> <li>Experience running 24/7 live services at scale.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p><p><br></p><p></p>
