Area Operations Manager- Sonography
<div>This position will have operational oversight of the following states: <strong>Mississippi, Alabama, Panhandle of Florida</strong>. The ideal candidate must reside in one of these states.<br/><br/><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>:<br/><br/><ul><li><strong>Operational Oversight</strong>: Manage day-to-day operations across assigned region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and service standards.</li><li><strong>Team Leadership</strong>: Supervise and support sonographers, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.</li><li><strong>Field Support</strong>: Perform ultrasound exams at least two (2) days per week to maintain clinical skills and support team integration.</li><li><strong>Performance Monitoring</strong>: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including exam volumes, quality metrics, and patient satisfaction.</li><li><strong>Resource Management</strong>: Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and coverage.</li><li><strong>Compliance & Quality Assurance</strong>: Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and internal policies.</li><li><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with clinical, administrative, and executive teams to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.</li><li><strong>Training & Development</strong>: Identify training needs and support professional development of team members</li></ul><br/><br/><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS</strong>: <br/><br/><ul><li>Required Certification: Current ARDMS or equivalent ultrasound certification required.</li><li>Experience:<br/><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of clinical ultrasound experience.</li><li>At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare or imaging services environment.</li><li>Proven experience managing multi-site operations is strongly preferred.</li></ul></li><li>Technical & Clinical Skills:<br/><ul><li>Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound exams.</li><li>Strong understanding of clinical protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Familiarity with ultrasound equipment, PACS, and EMR systems.</li></ul></li><li>Leadership & Operational Skills:<br/><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple locations.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.</li><li>Experience in workforce planning, performance management, and staff development.</li></ul></li><li>Analytical & Communication Skills:<br/><ul><li>Ability to analyze operational data and implement process improvements.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.</li></ul></li><li>Other Requirements:<br/><ul><li>Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region</li><li>Commitment to spending two days per week performing clinical scanning in the field.</li><li>Valid driver's license </li></ul></li></ul><br/><br/><strong>BENEFITS:</strong><br/><br/>TridentCare offers a competitive wage and robust benefit package to <strong>full time employees</strong>.
