About the roleIf you are motivated by the opportunity to influence the way organizations utilize Microsoft 365 and AI technologies, the Modern Workplace Architect I position offers a platform to design and deliver advanced collaboration and productivity solutions for both clients and internal teams. This role is well suited for Microsoft 365 professionals seeking to expand their expertise and transition into an architectural capacity, working under the mentorship of senior architects, adopting industry best practices, and contributing to the development of modern, AI-driven workplace solutions. This role provides comprehensive experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, enterprise collaboration design, governance, and practical client engagement. It also establishes a clear progression path toward Architect II and senior architecture positions. Key responsibilities include: Solution Design & Delivery <ul style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-top: 0px;"><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Support the design and documentation of Microsoft 365 solutions, including M365 Copilot, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Translate business requirements into clear, scalable technical designs with guidance from senior architects. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Assist with configuration, customization, migration, and deployment of M365 workloads across client and internal environments. </li></ul>Collaboration & Enablement <ul style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-top: 0px;"><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Partner with IT, security, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with governance, compliance, and performance standards. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Contribute to architecture diagrams, governance models, and user adoption or enablement materials. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, and project kickoffs as a technical contributor. </li></ul>Operations & Continuous Improvement <ul style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-top: 0px;"><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 workloads and integrations. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Stay current with the Microsoft 365 roadmap, new features, and evolving best practices—especially in AI and Copilot enablement. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Continuously build technical depth while developing architectural thinking and consulting skills. </li></ul> Be AmbITious: This opportunity is not just about what you do today but also about where you can go tomorrow. What were looking for:<ul style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-top: 0px;"><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">4–5 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft 365 in a technical, engineering, or administrative role. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, governance, and security fundamentals. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Experience with: </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">SharePoint Online (site creation, information architecture, content management) </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Microsoft Teams (configuration, lifecycle management, collaboration design) </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">OneDrive for Business (sync, sharing, and storage controls) </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, including enablement, readiness, and governance concepts. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and/or Microsoft Purview. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Awareness of compliance, data protection, and information governance concepts in M365. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Comfort collaborating within cross-functional teams and working under mentorship. </li><li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;">Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to grow as a Modern Workplace architect. </li></ul> What you can expect We’re legendary for taking care of you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
