Learn more at <strong>ourassistants.com</strong>.<br></p> <h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3> <p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Assistant Property Manager (APM) / General Property Manager (GPM)</strong> to support day-to-day operations for U.S.-based property management clients.</p> <p>The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing leasing, maintenance coordination, tenant communication, and property operations using <strong>AppFolio</strong> and <strong>Aptly</strong>. This role requires someone highly organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced remote environment.</p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <h4><strong>Property Management Operations</strong></h4> <ul> <li> Support end-to-end property management operations for residential portfolios. </li> <li> Manage leasing workflows including applications, approvals, renewals, move-ins, and move-outs. </li> <li> Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation within property management systems. </li> </ul> <h4><strong>Tenant & Owner Communication</strong></h4> <ul> <li> Respond to tenant and owner inquiries professionally and promptly. </li> <li> Coordinate communication regarding leases, maintenance, billing, and property updates. </li> <li> Ensure excellent customer service and issue resolution. </li> </ul> <h4><strong>Maintenance Coordination</strong></h4> <ul> <li> Handle maintenance requests and dispatch vendors as needed. </li> <li> Follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction. </li> <li> Coordinate with vendors and contractors regarding scheduling and updates. </li> </ul> <h4><strong>Systems & Administrative Support</strong></h4> <ul> <li> Maintain workflows and task management within <strong>AppFolio</strong> and <strong>Aptly</strong>. </li> <li> Generate reports, update records, and support operational tracking. </li> <li> Assist with compliance, notices, and property-related documentation. </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications & Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li> Proven experience in <strong>U.S. property management</strong>. </li> <li> Strong hands-on experience with <strong>AppFolio</strong> and <strong>Aptly</strong> (<strong>required</strong>). </li> <li> Solid understanding of leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident support workflows. </li> <li> Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. </li> <li> Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment. </li> <li> Experience handling multiple properties or portfolios is preferred. </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li> Must be currently residing in the <strong>Philippines</strong> or <strong>Latin America</strong>. </li> <li> Must have a <strong>stable internet connection</strong> and a <strong>remote-ready workstation</strong>. </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></h3> <ul> <li> Competitive salary based on experience </li> <li> Permanent remote setup </li> <li> Ongoing training and professional development opportunities </li> <li> Supportive and collaborative work environment </li> </ul>
